Recovering From Religion

BN sponsors a local Recovering from Religion (RR) chapter to assist those in need of support while questioning their faith or dealing with the challenges of leaving religion. As a result of leaving religion, some face rejection by family and friends. Others must deal with issues related to raising children with spouses who remain religious. Still others have left religion, but can’t shake the negative psychological effects caused by their indoctrination. RR is a safe place to discuss these very personal subjects and explore the answers together. We can heal the damage done to us by religion!

RR meetings are open to the general public. While this RR group is sponsored by BN, it is not run by nor is a front for the organization. We ask that members be mindful of discussing BN business outside of RR meetings.

Attendees are asked to contribute donations at the end of meetings to help cover costs. No one is turned away for lack of finances.

If you have questions about RR or would like to receive email meeting reminders for RR chapter meetings, email us at info@blacknonbelievers.org. See the Calendar for meeting details.
